Description
I couldn't find any clear description of how the OnUpdate event for TActionList and the OnUpdate event for the actions contained in the list interacted. So I put together a little example to test things out.

What I found out:
1. Both events are called unless the actionlist's 'handled' variable is set to true. If the one enables the action and the other disables it, the buttons will get an interesting flickering appearance ;-)

2. If the actionList's 'handled' variable is set to true, the action's OnUpdate never will be called.

3. My example shows how to let the actionList have a master OnUpdate event, with the possibility for the actions to have their own OnUpdate events or not. The Action1 has an update event controlled by one of the checkboxes. Action2 doesn't have any, and is controlled by the actionList's OnUpdate event.
