I want that Delphi's new versions have tighter integration with Borland AppServer.

I think Jbuilder should be able to create Midas servers as EJBs in BAS,and Delphi should have the ability to access them via RMI.I feal JBuilder 4's utility to create a multitier logic is far less convinient and understandable than that of Midas. So I want to see Midas in JBuilder!I think it's a good idea allowing JBuilder designe appserver side statefull or stateless Midas objects, and let Delphi or Kylix design the client side Apps, they communicate via RMI.
I think JBuilder should be able to access Midas Server.I mean that BAS should provide subcontainers to hold Delphi developed distributed objects.I think Delphi Midas server should offer RMI accessing method, along with existing DCOM,IIOP,Socket,Http. This will allow Jave Midas clients. And Delphi Midas Client using RMI would benefit from less dependent on DCOM.AppServer managed Midas Objects will be more powerfull than those in a executable.
I think Delphi(and BCB,Kylix) should be able to develope web apps hosting in BAS.These web app modules should be able to talk to the distributed objects in the BAS,just like InternetExpress Web apps talking to Midas Server.
I think all of above depend on Delphi's both client and server side implementation of RMI.
