An OpenTool for JBuilder4 and 5 to address some of the shortcomings of the Handheld Express(tm) OpenTool.
HandETool automates all of the additional steps that had to be performed outside of JBuilder to create and deploy a java app to a PDA using the kjava "profile" and the J2ME/CLDC (yes, I know that kjava is not an official profile for the Palm PDA).

New features in version 2.7:
- previewing of icons
- specification of additional classes to be included in the Palm app

Features of HandETool include:

- works with kjava "profile" of versions CLDC 1.0 and CLDC 1.0.1
- integrates with JBuilder to automatically perform the following steps after your J2ME project successfully builds:
- run the class file preverifier
- create the Palm app from your class files (.prc file)
- install the app to your Palm desktop so it will be installed on thePDA at next Hotsync

- provides project property pages to allow controlling all aspects of creating the Palm app
- preview and set the icons that are displayed in the Palm Launcher for your app
- set the networking flag to allow your Palm app to perform networking
- add additional classes from other packages to the project

- all property settings are saved with your JBuilder project
- works with or without the Borland Handheld Express(tm) OpenTool
- detailed help for all property settings

- J2ME-CLDC and Palm "profile"/overlay must be installed (version 1.0 or 1.01)
- JBuilder4 or JBuilder5 must be installed
- J2ME JDK must be configured in JBuilder (either manually or with wizard)
- Palm desktop (optional, required only if deploying to Palm instead of POSE)

- copy this jar to the lib/ext directory of the JBuilder installation on your machine
