Description
This project demonstrates how to send a "ping" and interpret the results using the Win32 API functions provided in ICMP.DLL.

This method is important because the typical way of sending a ping on Win NT or Win 2000 requires administrator privilege. The ICMP.DLL method does not require admin privileges.

Note that Microsoft is suggesting that future versions of Windows may not include ICMP.DLL.
