TDBGridEasy is a simple component derived directly from TDBGrid that can display alternate colored rows, like old-fashioned print-out sheets.

Simply download it, put it in a package, compile and install.
The new component will appear in the "Data Controls" tab of the Component Palette.
It has tree new properties in the Object Inspector:
AltColor: the alternate color of a row background.
EasyRead: if set to True, the component "easy-read" feature is enabled, otherwise it behaves like original TDBGrid.
FixedBackground: selects two different kinds of scrolling the colored background (try it).
Hope it will work even in Delphi 6, but I can't try it.
