Description
Visual Patch is the easy way to make professional-quality full-history patches for your software and other electronic content.

Software patches are files used to update the software already installed on a system. Patches modify or replace the installed files to add new features, fix bugs, or add support for new hardware. Unlike setup files, which contain all the files needed to run the software, most patches only contain the files that have changed from the previous version. Because of this, patches offer a secure way to update your software. Users must already have a previous version of your software installed in order to make use of a patch. This means you can make a patch available to everyone -- on a public web page, for instance -- without permitting unauthorized use of your software.

Such open access to service releases makes it easier for your users to keep their software up to date. This helps minimize your need to support older versions of your software.

With the same ease of use and interface style that has made Setup Factory famous, Visual Patch lets you spend less time preparing your updates for distribution, and more time working on your software. You'll be free to update your software whenever you want, as often as you want, knowing you can prepare a new patch for delivery in minutes.

As a stand-alone product, Visual Patch can be used by anyone. It doesn't matter what installation product you use -- or even whether you use one at all. If you need to get newer versions of files out to users, Visual Patch will do it. Visual Patch will work with any kinds of files. You could even use it to update a few slides in a presentation, or individual files in a library of help documents used by your sales team. With a flexible tool like Visual Patch, the possibilities are endless.
