Description
Under Windows NT/2000/XP the user access to the registry is very often restricted. If you want to store your project information in the registry and the user is just logged in as normal user, it's not possible to write into the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE Key.
One way out can be to store your information in an external file. In this case the structure of a XML file can be a full replacement for the registry access.
This component provides the access over two simple properties like Values[ Path, Valuename] as Variant and Text[ Path] as String. Both properties are read/write and Path is the node structure like "root\software\company" etc.
If this is not enough, please implement the TRegistry or TIniFile methods as well (just give me a copy of your source)
