TWebBrowserFocusMonitor is a component that fixes a focus problem with TWebBrowser. The problem seems to happen more when you are loading the TWebBrowser from a string. By using the LoadDocFromString. I have included LoadDocFromString in the component. LoadDocFromString is something that I found in the newsgroups (or on the Borland site). If you have a TWebBrowser control on a form and other controls you may have problems with focus. The problem is that the TWebBrowser is made up of three windows and when you click on the scroll bars or the browser the inner windows gets focus but doesn’t tell the TForm that the active control has changed. Then when you click back on the control that HAD focus the TForm still thinks that the control has focus so it doesn’t fully get focus and then if you move the up and down arrows it moved the browser up and down instead of activating the currently selected compoent.

Special thanks to Steve Trefethen from the Delphi/C++ R&D for his response to my posting on the Delphi newsgroup. Steve’s web site
