1. Introduction

This opentool for JBuilder provides a method to search the JBuilder Message Pane.
When used, this tool creates a additional message pane which copies the active
message pane text, with the lines containing the search results high-lighted.

4. Usage

A) If more than one message pane tab is showing, activate the message pane tab you wish to search.
If only one message pane tab is showing, then it will be used.

B) Activate the search popup dialog by either the icon in the search tool bar or the dropdown menu option
Search | Search the Current Message Pane.

C) Enter a text you wish to search for in the text box. This search is not case sensitive.

D) Press enter or click the OK button.

E) An additional message pane tab should now appear in the message pane. The tab label will read "Search : xxxxxxx"
xxxxxxx = up to the first seven letter of the search are displayed.

Note - a tab will not appear if the active message pane does not contain an instance of a JTree or
JBuilder's WrappableEditorPane.

F) If a line or lines contain the search for text, that entire line will be high-lighted on the Second pane. If
the text wasn't found on any lines, a line will be added to the end of the message pane tab stated no
matches were found.

G) Note - The searched message pane tab has not be touched by this tool, only read.
