Description
jb2 Web Questions for ASP.NET is a collection of ASP.NET Server Controls that provide a powerful, theme-based approach to collecting data for any type of online form. Simply drop jb2 Web Questions controls onto your WebForm and data-bind or fill-in question and response text to rapidly prototype your web application. Then scroll through pre-defined themes to transform your prototype into the final look you want.

Use jb2 Web Questions for:

- Dynamic online registration form - You can use Web Questions to build dynamic web forms that adapt as the user inputs data. For example, you could build a multi-language customer registration form that presents questions in different languages or grammars based upon the selected country.

- Smart technical support/error reporting forms - All users require assistance at some point. Regardless of whether your applications are deployed internally or sold to end-users around the world, you can use Web Questions to enable customized help desk/error reporting that adapts as the form is completed.

- Rapid prototyping of web user interfaces - Design several versions of your web user interface - in less time than it would take to build a single web form manually, allowing your clients to choose the look and feel they prefer.

- Surveying customers and partners - Develop questionnaires and surveys with a look and feel that invites participation. Let your users express their preferences, desires, and intentions more precisely and easily with advanced controls such as QRatingSeries.

- Speed the process of migrating to ASP.NET - Web Question's rapid prototyping capabilities enable you to quickly convert ASP applications to ASP.NET. You can run both side-by-side during the migration process.

jb2 Web Questions provides full design-time integration with visual development environments like Borland Delphi for the Microsoft .NET Framework, Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003, and ASP.NET Web Matrix, greatly enhancing the experience in all stages of development. Includes sample surveys for saving responses in a database or e-mailing responses to you.

The following question controls are included in the suite.
- QRatingSeries - asks a user to respond with a series of ratings using a custom rating scale.
- QTextField - asks a user to respond with a single line of free-form text.
- QTextBox - asks a user to respond with multi-line free-form text.
- QMultiSelection - asks a user to respond by choosing zero or more options from a list (CheckBoxList or ListBox).
- QSingleSelection - asks a user to respond by choosing a single option from a list (RadioButtonList, DropDownList, or ListBox).
- QYesNo - asks a user to respond affirmatively or negatively.
- QLabel - provides text, and subtext for a stand-alone question label or as inherited in the other question controls.
- QPageStyleTheme - provides the default style properties for the question controls on the page.
- QPageLayoutTheme - provides the default layout properties for the question controls on the page.
