Description
JBuilder8 SE had a number of formatting options that were not enabled for the developer. Unfortunately, many of these were format options that had default formatting that I personally refused to use. After going in and editing the .jpx file to change the options that I wanted, I finally wrote this open tool just so I wouldn't have to do that any more.

This tool offers the ability to change the formatting options for the following categories:
New Lines (catch, finally, while, etc)
Spaces (before ;, before paren, etc)
Braces (class brace on next line, method brace on next line, etc)
Blank Lines (after package, after imports, after field, etc)
Others (indent case, align parens, etc)

To install this tool take the FormatHelper.jar file and place it in your JBuilder/lib/ext directory and restart JBuilder.

I make no guarantees as to the safety of this code, but am currently using it on my computer with JBuilder8SE and haven't seen any problems.

This tool is freeware and the code is available to anybody who wants it. Please feel free to modify the code and add functionality to it as you like. The only thing I ask is that if you do modify this code and post a new tool please include the source code with your tool so others may use it to learn.

Thanks,
Matthew Zimmer
