telerik r.a.d.designer is the first browser-based componentware CMS tool for the .NET framework. It provides an open, extendable environment for visual construction and management of web-sites, intranets, and web-applications. Using simple point-and-clicks developers and end-users can create layout templates, build individual pages, and interconnect them in a natural WYSIWYG manner.

r.a.d.designer is unique because it represents a CMS built as a standard ASP.NET server control. It will not lock-down your site to a solution with restrictive specifics, but will allow you to easily build-up its functionality by plugging other web-controls: menus, content rotators, charts, etc. Thanks to the flexible layout template logic, r.a.d.designer can replicate any web-site design. It is bundled with our leading content editor, r.a.d.editor, and includes exemplary modules for enforcing roles and security.

The component is available individually or as part of the r.a.d.controls suite – a collection of UI essentials for rapid ASP.NET development.
