Just moved to programming in the WinNT/XP enviroment from Win9x and I am getting problems saving certain entries in the Registry using TRegistry. Tried opening with minimum ACCESS(i.e. KEY_WRITE) but this is not working on Specific Keys (e.g. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies)
and the programs fail.
Is there any way to override the Registry Permissions then set them back without getting users to edit the Registry Permissions themselves?
