Configuration section handlers allow you to easily serialize simple classes from custom sections of your application's (web) config file.

This example shows how to specify a collection of classes, inside a web.config file, that define connection string options for databases a web application operates on. Without the need to recompile the project you can add a definition for new connection that gets dynamically loaded from the web.config.
