People trying to use Kylix 3 (particularly the C++ part) on newer Linux distributions (such as RedHat 8 & 9, Madrake 9 & 9.1, SuSE 8.2) have experienced a number of problems: compilation errors when using STL, unresolved references when linking, installer and IDE hangs, etc.
This package contains a collection of fixes that (hopefully) addresses these problems. A readme file with instructions is included, as well as header files that must be copied into the include directory. Two short example projects that should work afterwards are provided.
Other patches: In this page there is an excellent patch suite for Kylix 3, which solves all the problems mentioned above and also a number of bugs found the VisualCLX:
